I am Luna, an undergraduate student at Mount Allison University in Canada. This website creation is not only for the final project of CLAS 3711: The Art of Imperial Rome and Its Empire. It for provides detailed information about the Amphitheatre of El Djem and its splendid architecture. Throughout this website, I make a little comparison with the amphitheatre of El Djem and the Colosseum in terms of their architectural characteristics. I also introduce El Djem’s history as well as the amphitheatre’s function. I use Chicago Style citation, so each number which is mentioned in the main text has each citation at the bottom of the page.
